This project focused on creating the next version of Trading.TV - a social platform that blends trading, livestreaming and community interaction. The goal was to make investing more accessible by giving users reliable financial data alongside real-time conversations and creator-led content.
The client wanted to transform a traditional finance tool into an engaging social environment. Our challenge was to present accurate market information while enabling users to chat, join communities, watch streams and explore detailed asset data - ultimately proving that a trading product can also function as a vibrant, community-driven ecosystem.

What we learned from users
Discovery showed that advanced traders needed real-time, reliable data, while beginners looked for guidance and a sense of community. Both groups wanted trustworthy financial information paired with authentic social interaction, which led us to center the product on communities, livestreams and transparent asset data.
How we defined the platform
We shaped the platform as a space where expert insights and user-generated content could coexist. Users could learn by watching others trade, ask questions during livestreams, join interest-based communities and explore detailed asset pages. The guiding vision was to make financial knowledge accessible while maintaining the accuracy expected from a trading platform.
How the experience took shape
Throughout a year of iterative design and development, we built a unified web and mobile experience using a modern tech stack. The core features were crafted to make financial exploration social and immediate, allowing users to participate in conversations, join communities and access market data without friction.

What the platform delivered
The final product supported both experienced traders and newcomers by combining high-quality financial data with real-time community interaction. Users could discuss ideas, watch expert livestreams, follow asset information and start investing directly in the app. Early feedback confirmed that the experience felt more transparent, social and engaging than typical trading tools.
What this redesign ultimately achieved
The platform proved that trading can be collaborative rather than isolating. By merging market data with live video and community-driven content, it introduced a new category within social FinTech, giving users a place to learn from each other and make confident decisions in real time.
